California Supreme Court Upholds Prop 8 The California Supreme Court has announced their decision to uphold Prop 8 with a 6-1 vote. The decision was announced Tuesday morning at 10 am. Prop 8 was the ballot measure voted California voters passed last November banning same-sex marriage in the state. The ban came after same-sex marriages were allowed beginning in June 2008. ....more
